Our unique approach combines module-based learning, or live learning coupled with one-on-one consultancy with our founder, Timothy. Move through the accelerator at your own pace or attend our live events as each new module begins. Take a look at the modules below: 

Module 1: Your Mindset

Designed to help you overcome self-doubt and project a confident, professional voice. We'll explore the key elements of effective speech, provide practical tips for building confidence from within, and guide you through exercises to enhance your speaking skills. By the end of this module, you'll be able to introduce yourself with poise, present your ideas with conviction, and communicate with intention.

WEEK 1

Module 2: Legal Formations

This module will equip you with the essential knowledge to establish a solid legal foundation for your design business. We'll cover topics such as legal formation, obtaining necessary licenses, and understanding the different types of business structures. You'll also learn how to obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN), acquire a resale license, and choose the right bank accounts and payment processors for your business needs.

WEEK 1

Module 3: Brand Identity + Offer

In this module, you'll learn the essential steps to establish a strong brand identity for your 3D design business. We'll cover topics such as choosing a company name, creating a logo, and building a basic website using Squarespace AI. You'll also discover how to create a compelling portfolio, even if you have limited experience, by leveraging personal projects and showcasing your skills effectively.

WEEK 2

Module 4: Position + Market Research

This module will equip you with the essential marketing knowledge to attract and retain clients. You'll learn about positioning your business, conducting market research, creating compelling customer personas, and developing a unique value proposition. We'll also delve into core marketing systems, including local SEO, article writing, local listings, and effective outreach strategies. Additionally, you'll benefit from a guest workshop by Emanuela, who will provide expert insights into leveraging social media for business growth.

WEEK 2

Module 5: Operations + Software

This module will provide you with a structured framework to refine your business processes and ensure efficient operations. You'll learn about our proprietary framework for self-assessment, as well as recommended systems tailored to your experience level. Additionally, we'll cover essential topics such as pricing your services, understanding your costs, calculating your required working hours, and implementing markups and margins to increase your profitability by 30%.

WEEK 3

That's just a preview...

This comprehensive course will guide you through the entire process of launching and scaling a successful design business. From securing your first project to refining your business operations, you'll learn essential strategies and best practices. We'll cover topics such as client acquisition, project management, business development, and personal growth. Frequently asked questions

For those who take advantage of the early bird discount, the accelerator starts November 1. For those who jump on after the early bird discount, it will begin February 1, 2025. 

YES! The accelerator was built with those in mind who are struggling with opening their design firm, or even getting it off the ground. However, we have some established designers join us for the marketing components and other components that are relevant to them. 

YES! Our main goal here is to get your business kickstarted with your first 5 projects. If you follow everything we teach you, you will end the 12 weeks with 5 projects already under your belt. 

That's ok! We record every session and you will have access to it every week. If you need additional one-on-one time to review things, or need clarification, we are here for your success. 

Negative. Your year of indema will start at the systems and processes module, so you will be able to follow along then. If you get a project sooner than that, please let us know and we can get you access earlier.
